******* Release tight fascia caused by birth trauma *******

There are 2 possible causes for tight fascia in newborns:

1) Mothers may pass trauma through their own craniosacral fascial strain patterns onto their newborns during the fetal and birth period.

2) Traumatic birth - Two of our most difficult birth traumas are arching and cord wrap. Thirdly, sustained fetal compression. Fourthly, a tight, difficult-expanding uterus.

Some of the effects it could have on the person as an infant, then later on as a child, then as an adult:

  • Colic

  • Reflux

  • Inability to latch

  • Difficulty sucking

  • Difficulty swallowing

  • Constipation

  • Indigestion

  • Asymmetrical head shape

  • Earache

  • Crawling patterns

  • Stridor

  • Strabismus

  • Earache

  • Concussion

  • ADHD/ADD

  • Learning disorders

  • Sinus conditions

  • Anxiety

  • Autism

MOM

Trauma to the tip of the coccyx can create a fascial-like lightning rod radiating strain everywhere. A tight sacrum can also pull on the dural tube and cause POST NATAL DEPRESSION.

We envision the mother-to-be having CFT before conception to ensure better hormonal function for her, less strain in her pregnancy, an easier birth, and better overall health for her newborn.
